About the character:
The vulcan woman, T'Pol, is first officer aboard Enterprise NX-01
and is acting science officer. She is to watch the human progress
in their first steps into the wide expanses of space. She is forced
upon the prohibited mindmelting by a vulcan ("Fusion"
(17)) and subsequently suffers from it. On Vulcan, those who have
mindmelted, is expelled from the society. Later, her secret is revealed
("Stigma" (40)).
During the long journeys she slowly falls in love with Tucker,
but in the end after all she does what from childhood has been planned
for her, marrying the vulcan Koss. They get married ("Home"
(79)). Her mothers name is T'Les and she is in big secrecy a member
of the syrrannites, until it is revealed ("The Forge"
(Part 1) (83)). They are a group of vulcans, who follows another
belief in the logic and is against Vulcan co-operation dealing with
alien worlds. T'Pol is divorced ("Kir'Shara" (Part 3)
(85)) and conceives great interest for the texts of Sorak and for
that reason informs Tucker, that she no longer wishes to continue
their relationship ("Daedalus" (86)).
