The evil android brother, Lore, is back and now leader of a group
of borgs. But he also controls Data, who, with his ethical program
not working, commence experiments on his best friend Geordi La Forge.
Meanwhile, captain Picard and Deanna Troi attempts to escape. Elsewhere
on the planet Riker and Worf meets the familiar borg, Hugh ("I Borg"
(123)), who spread the individualism into his group of borgs.

While the Enterprise is hosting two ambassadors from an alien race,
Picard is on his way to their planet. But on the way an accident
happens and crash-lands on a barrenness planet. A woman finds him
and nurse him, but soon Picard suspects her of just holding him
off...

is the captain on. He refuses to acknowledge her being dead, so
when he sees the mother through the probe, he is interfacing with,

who uses a more sofisticated, telepathic way of communication. While
a delegation of them are on board the Enterprise, Lwaxana falls

mind, where a well-guarded secret are to find.

The Enterprise is searching for the missing transport spaceship,
the Flemming, in the Hekaras corridor and meets a ferengi spaceship,
who has been attacked by a verteron beam, so now they float helpless
about. The Enterprise becomes on their continuing voyage exposed
to the same, and a brother and a sister beams aboard to proof their
theory on how warp drive spoil the universe.

Data is training his cat. Geordi competes
with another chief engineer of another starship. With reason to
cause sub space rifts Starfleet orders their ships and its Allies
not to travel with more than warp 5 speed. Only in emergencies may
the limit be crossed.

The planet Altrea 4 is threaten by a geological eruption, that will
make the planet uninhabitable. Data is working along with the scientist
Juliana, who tells Data, that she once was married to doctor Noonien
Soong. A fact, he puts himself to investigate.

Worf finds the reality constantly changing and gets worried, when
no one else seems to notice.

The romulans are on the trace of the USS Pegasus, which was believed
exploded 12 years back. The space ship's captain from back then,
Eric Pressman, now promoted to admiral, orders a broken-hearted
Riker, at that time newly qualified from the Starfleet, to hide
the real purpose of the risky mission to captain Picard. A mission,
that is as mysterious, as back then.

A planets atmosphere is soon gone and Worf's foster brother, Nikolaj,
breaks the prime directive and beams a group of the primitive population
into a holodeck aboard the Enterprise. They still believe, they
are on the planet, which gives captain Picard time to find a new,
suitable planet, while Worf and Nikolaj keeps the illusion going.
But then a person finds the exit of the holodeck...

Deanna Troi will very much like to get command shifts on the bridge
like Beverly Crusher and therefore asks to take the test. In the
meantime, Data is on the planet Barkon 4, where he is to remove
radioactive material from a crashed probe. But something has happened
to Data, when he saunter into a village with amnesia. Radioactive
metal pieces gets scattered, and the horror for the inexplicable
illness get blamed on Data by the primitive people.

In a secluded region of space Enterprise comes across an 87 million
year old comet, and mysterious objects turns up all around the ship.
As they drill into the comet parts of the Enterprise is bit by bit
transformed into objects and signs from an ancient culture. Finally,
Data is invaded by several personalities from the extinct civilization.

Kwan, a young cadet, commit suicide without motive, which Deanna
Troi gets the job to investigate. Simultaneous, she involves herself
more and more intim in her colleague Worf, something mysterious

Worf looses a torpedo during a drill, and captain Jean-Luc Picard
and Data takes up the pursuit in a shuttlecraft. When they return

of the crew developed backwards to a prehistoric level.

indians on the planet Dorvan 5 is going to be evacuated, which captain
Picard reluctant must take care of. Wesley Crusher returns to the
Enterprise with an attitude, that is not like him. A colonist gets
Wesley to reconsider his future.

Worf is worried about his son Alexander, when he do not want to
carry out a klingon ritual. Captain Picard wants to help Worf by
setting the course to the klingon planet, Maranga 4, where Worf
tries to make his son be interested in the klingon culture. When
they at night is assaulted, they get rescued by K'mtar, who tells
he is the servant of the family Mogh. It is the sisters Duras ("Redemption"
(100/101)), who is evident responsible for the attack.

A probe shows itself in front of the Enterprise transmitting a holographic
message from Bok ("The Battle" (9)), who wil revenge his his son
by killing captain Picard's. Now, the hunt after a son, Picard never
knew he had, begins. They track him, and a DNA analysis shows, Jason
is the son of captain Jean-Luc Picard. But, how is it possible to
get hold of Bok, when he is able to beam aboard the Enterprise undetected
by the sensors and while the shields are still up?

The famous train line the Orient Express runs simultaneously with
the programme Data is running. Enterprise is searching for suitable
places to colonize but their search is interrupted as they on and
off looses the control of the starship. Here and there Geordi and
Data finds small knot points integrated into the system, and it
protects itself. The holodeck is where the answer is to be found
aboard the Orient Express...
